FULTON CDA AWARDED $40,976 HOUSING COUNSELING GRANT
The Fulton Community Development Agency is pleased to announce its inclusion as one of over 500 national, regional and local organizations receiving a housing counseling grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Obama administration has allocated nearly $73 million in HUD funding nationwide to enhance opportunities for households to find housing or maintain the homes they have.
As a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency, Fulton CDA has successfully secured $40,976 in grant funding for the up-coming year to continue and expand upon the services provided to the community through this program. Counseling services related to the following areas are currently provided: rental housing needs, fair housing issues, pre-purchase and homebuyer assistance, mortgage delinquency/default issues, post-purchase non-delinquent and rehabilitation problems.
